In February, we have submitted our answers to the EU Commission’s public consultation on the EED review. We took this chance to reiterate our main messages and suggestions for an effective EED review:

  1. Reflect ‘Energy Efficiency First’ along the whole energy chain throughout the EED
  2. Make Energy Efficiency targets binding
  3. Enhance the role of effective Energy Management to optimise energy consumption
  4. Foster energy efficiency in Heating & Cooling
  5. Make decarbonisation the indicator to balance and assess energy efficiency and renewable energies policies and measures
